What is a Healing Connection?
A healing connection is a dynamic between yourself and another individual or group. It is a sacred space that allows for breakthrough moments in a person’s healing journey. This sacred space is contingent upon your own integrity as a healer and your ability to facilitate a relationship that is patient, encouraging and empowering.
About the Training
WHAT THE TRAINING ENTAILS
Each day of this 50HR intensive, you will:
Be led in a therapeutically oriented practice including asana, pranayama and meditation.
Engage in individual/group practices/exercises that will help you to experience, embody and personalize the teachings.
Have dynamic group discussions on a variety of teachings around creating healing connections.
If you also register for the Add-On Teacher Training Tract, you will receive 50 hours to your Advanced Teacher Training hours.

WHO IS THIS TRAINING DESIGNED TO ACCOMMODATE?
This is an advanced training for the Alaya Yoga School, and it is also open to anyone who works in a healing way with groups and 1:1 with clients.
This workshop will be very useful for:
- Yogis of any level or ability that would like to deepen their connection to self, other and Source in a profound way,
- Those who are in the healing profession
- Yoga teachers who would like to learn practical and applicable tools to enhance your private sessions and group classes
Alaya Yoga School Teacher Trainees - For those enrolled in the Alaya Yoga School Advanced Teacher Training tract will receive 50 hours towards your 300/500hr.
Yoga Alliance Registered Teachers – If you are a yoga teacher registered through Yoga Alliance, successful completion of this course will give you 50 Yoga Alliance Approved CEUs.

Meg is passionate about sharing the full, rich teachings of yoga (asana, meditation, yoga nidra, chanting, philosophy, etc.) in a truly experiential way that helps us to positively transform and enrich our lives. Having worked as a yoga therapist for over a decade, she is continually inspired by the vitality of the human spirit and the power of yoga to help us tap into a source deep inner-peace and well-being.
She has been sharing the yoga life with all kinds of seekers for over 18 years and is the Co-Founder of the Alaya Yoga School, a Wanderlust Presenter and Teacher Trainer, and the original founder of Simple Yoga and Wellness Studio. She is a passionate community builder and give talks, lead teacher trainings, satsangs, workshops and retreats all over the world. You can also find her classes featured online at www.Gaia.com/Meg .
The 7 years she spent as a yoga studio owner in rural Montana fueled her passion for building diverse and strong communities that foster true human connection. Though she no longer runs the studio, she recognizes community building as the urgent work of our times and remains dedicated to that in all that she does. She is currently inspired to create safe and sacred spaces where these genuine connections can be established, flourish and endure. Throughout 2019 and 2020 it is her intention to bring this work to the great divides that we face in our current society. Outside of the studio, she will be working with a tribe of inspiring souls to sprout these communities in our prisons and along the racial and political divides.

Ashleigh Sergeant is the Head of Yoga Content for Gaia.com, Director of Yoga and Movement for The Envision Festival in Costa Rica, co-founder of The Alaya School of Yoga, spent five years as the Global Yoga Trainer for adidas and was honored to be the youngest Certified Anusara Yoga Instructor in the world. Ashleigh’s yoga videos are featured on Gaia.com, Grokker and ShriTV. A regular presenter at the Wanderlust Festival, Ashleigh has contributed to Mind Body Green, YOGANONYMOUS, Latin Women’s Health and German Yoga Journal.
Ashleigh is a true embodiment of the teachings of yoga. Her life, presence and vibrant way of being in this world, radiate the effects of her dedicated practice. Steeped in a breadth of knowledge and depth of lived experience, Ashleigh has the unique gift of being able to guide her students in a clear, effective and inspiring way. With a solid foundation of the ancient teachings, Ashleigh is also on the leading edge of the evolution of yoga. Her revolutionary approach to the practices, breathes new life into the tradition and helps us to thrive in today’s ever-changing world.
Ashleigh’s first teachers included Bryan Kest and Baron Baptiste. She received her first 200-HR teaching certification at the Himalayan Institute with a strong influence from Rod Stryker’s ParaYoga, whom with she continues to study presently. For many years Ashleigh traveled with and assisted John Friend, the founder of Anusara Yoga, exploring the profound healing aspects of therapeutic asana. Ashleigh’s present passion is the deep exploration of the mystical and energetic side of the yoga practice and for this her primary teacher and long time inspiration is the great Sally Kempton.

Dr. Jennifer Marie Lane
Dr. Jennifer Marie Lane, DC is a Network Spinal chiropractor, dream oracle, author, yoga instructor and mother. Her work is a blend of soul technologies, chiropractic and practical magic. Born in Hawaii to Navy physicians, she traveled the world experiencing a diversity of cultures and educational environments. She has a BA in Medical Anthropology and Anthropological Genetics from Stanford University and was valedictorian of her chiropractic class.
She has mentored with some of the Bay Area’s most adept Network Spinal doctors and studied with elders, including Dr. Clarissa Pinkola Estes, Matthew Fox, Dr. Tom Hendrickson, Sianna Sherman, Ana Forrest and Robert Masters.
Jennifer has been featured multiple times in Yoga Journal (twice as cover model), and published numerous articles on dreams, earth wisdom and healing. Her first book on dreams, ODE: A Guide to Dreaming the World Awake, is an essential guide to embodied elemental dreamwork.
She resides in Bend, OR where she guides dream circles and provides Network Spinal care. Her passion is for that magical realm where body, mind, heart, soul and spirit(s) intermingle – where Dreams come alive!

Regular Rate: $875 (all final payments are due by April 15th)

- All deposits are non-refundable.
- If cancelled in writing 60 days prior to the training, a full refund (less the $100 deposit) will be issued.
- If cancelled in writing between 31 and 59 days prior to the training, and 80% refund (less the $100 deposit) will be issued.
- If cancelled 30 days or less prior to the training, no refund will be issued.
Alaya Yoga School reserves the right to cancel any program up to 30 days from the start of the program. In the unlikely event that AYS must cancel, all monies paid (including deposits) will be fully refunded.
