Infuse Your Life With the Wisdom of Yoga
at Rishi Yoga in Reno, NV
with Meg McCraken and Lauri Glenn
Spread out over 6 months, this training is specifically designed for rich experience and true integration. You will be invited to cultivate a deep and meaningful relationship with the teachings of yoga and then bring them to life in your own unique and authentic way. Rather than simply acquiring more knowledge, you will be guided to transform what you learn into wisdom so that your experience of yoga becomes integrated into your everyday life.
In this training you will have the opportunity to immerse yourself as a student to fully experience the teachings for yourself. You will also learn how to be an effective, safe, authentic and potent yoga teacher.
We will meet for 3 one-week sessions. Each session will be an immersive dive into a variety of topics like: asana (pose) workshops, philosophy, anatomy, sanskrit, meditation, business, etc.
Between our sessions, you will be guided through a rich integrating process designed to help you:
- deepen your understanding of the information and practices explored,
- cultivate your voice and strengthen your skills as a teacher
- commit to your practice,
- build lasting bonds within our circle of yogis and yoginis,
- integrate the practices, and the "little awakenings" you have into your everyday life.
Upon successful completion, you will be a Certified 200 HR Alaya Yoga School Teacher (which can be registered through Yoga Alliance). From here, you may go on to be an incredible teacher or you may decide not to teach at all. Where ever your path leads you, know that you will go with a sense of authenticity and support. The true gems from this training are sure to be:
- a new level of self discovery, acceptance and understanding,
- lasting and meaningful friendships,
- a wellspring of inner-resource that you can draw on at any time to cultivate, courage, inspiration and peace,
- a capacity to ride the wild and mysterious tides of life with purpose and grace.
